7/8/14 01:35 (UTC)I'll bet the food's out here in a minute. It helps that I wanted it rare, after all. It'll be a regular sharing night, won't it?
[Even as she said that, though, she caught a whiff of something and smiled a little more broadly, her foot slipping down the calf and back.]
Or I think our dinner's about ready.
Re: [Action]
7/8/14 03:38 (UTC)Oh good, I'm starving. It's been forever since I've had a decent meal.
[Action]
7/8/14 05:01 (UTC)Pretty hungry too. I get enough meat, but it never hurts to have a good steak.
Re: [Action]
8/8/14 04:00 (UTC)Good food had been something of a rarity for Asuka since she had come to Asgard, so anything more then the provisions she kept in her apartment was something of a treat.]
This is actually really good! I wasn't sure what to expect when you first mentioned this play to me. But they actually managed to make something that almost tastes like the food I'd get back home.
[She'd say more, something about that massive steak or the copious amount of sauce Samantha had slathered on it. But Asuka had been around Samantha long enough to know that it would just lead to some comparison between her and the steak.]
You know... [Asuka took another bite before continuing.] I don't think I ever ate out like this back home. If I ever did go out it was always some kind of work thing and that meant dragging along that brat and Ayanami. It was so annoying eating out with those two! One of them was to shy to even talk over dinner, and the Ayanami always made a big stink about where we went because little miss perfect couldn't eat meat.
Re: [Action]
8/8/14 23:58 (UTC)[She chewed easily enough, laughing some at the comments and nodding.] I'm sorry, but I can't imagine him on a date like this. He'd be fumbling around or making a total ass out of himself more than either of us or both combined.
And trust me, you'll never see me pretend to be a vegetarian. I couldn't actually live that way. Why was she like that?
Re: [Action]
9/8/14 00:22 (UTC)[Asuka took another bite, she was surprisingly casual despite the odd nature of what they were discussing.]
Re: [Action]
9/8/14 00:32 (UTC)You know, every once in a while, it's just the casual way you drop little bombshells like that that reminds me your world's as messed up as it is. You're... a resilient girl.
Re: [Action]
9/8/14 00:45 (UTC)[Her whole live had been made up of secrets, half-truths, and conspiracies, it was only natural that this sort of thing would come as relatively normal.]
I've survived the end of the world, of course I'm tough.
[Action]
9/8/14 00:54 (UTC)You're perfect for the job of saving the world.
Re: [Action]
9/8/14 01:00 (UTC)[The fight against NERV was actually in a pretty dire state of affairs, but that wouldn't stop Asuka from feeling like she could single handedly save the world all by her lonesome.]
I'll miss you when I go home, I know that much though.
[Action]
9/8/14 02:38 (UTC)I'm going to miss the hell out of you, but we've got plenty of memories to make while we're here.
Re: [Action]
9/8/14 03:16 (UTC)But then again, she still had pasta. Who could be sad when their mouth was full of noodles and sauce?
After taking another large bite of her meal, drowning the bad thoughts in a deep haze of red, Asuka finally manged to say something on the subject. ]
There is still a lot I'd like to do before I go back home.
[She thought for a moment, resting her weary head on the palm of her hand as prospects both fun and embarrassing whirled about in her mind.]
I'm sure I'll think of something eventually, but I do know that I'd like to punch a certain angel once or twice for sure.
Re: [Action]
9/8/14 06:04 (UTC)[She was smirking as she said it, putting negative thoughts out of her mind. Another bite and she settled back, pausing to think for a second.]
Don't tell me you're planning to punch demons too?
Re: [Action]
9/8/14 15:13 (UTC)[Winter had been mildly amusing, then terrible when it came for a second time in the middle of summer, spring pleasant, and summer a familiar experience. For the sake of her own curiosity, Asuka wondered where autumn fell on the scale of pleasant to terrible.]
Your the only demon I know, so no.
Re: [Action]
11/8/14 01:22 (UTC)[She smirked.]
And don't sell yourself short. I can still try harder to tick you off you know.
Re: [Action]
11/8/14 02:09 (UTC)[Asuka took another bite of her meal in an angry manner, recalling in her mind a particular person who she very much would have to liked to punch, had she been given the chance.]
There anything you want to do while your still here?
[Asuka spoke as she gently wiped some red sauce from her mouth.]
Re: [Action]
11/8/14 02:12 (UTC)[The tone in her voice said she wasn't kidding either.]
Besides that, I want to find a way to protect what happened here, so that it matters.
Re: [Action]
11/8/14 03:02 (UTC)[Asuka grinned, not only because it would mean the end of this stupid war, but also that it would be sort of sexy to see Samantha ending a giant's life with the sharpened point of her boot.]
That's a pretty lofty goal you've got there.
Re: [Action]
11/8/14 17:13 (UTC)Re: [Action]
12/8/14 03:06 (UTC)[Asuka had a pretty high opinion of herself, and even being as humbled as she was in Asgard would never change that fact.]
I hope you get the chance to kick his ass. I want this war to be over just as much as anyone else here.
Re: [Action]
12/8/14 04:02 (UTC)Re: [Action]
12/8/14 04:13 (UTC)So where did you want to go when we're done here? I still want to show you my eye, but I also don't really anyone else to see it either... so my place maybe?
Re: [Action]
12/8/14 04:21 (UTC)My place, we can stay as long as you like...
Re: [Action]
12/8/14 04:49 (UTC)Re: [Action]
12/8/14 04:58 (UTC)She smirked and nodded, setting her fork down and cocking her head.]
You want to get dessert here, or did you want to just get out of here, mmm?
