[Asuka looked a bit down, she really hadn't thought all that much how she'd feel when she was finally separated from everything she had experienced in Asgard.
But then again, she still had pasta. Who could be sad when their mouth was full of noodles and sauce?
After taking another large bite of her meal, drowning the bad thoughts in a deep haze of red, Asuka finally manged to say something on the subject. ]
There is still a lot I'd like to do before I go back home.
[She thought for a moment, resting her weary head on the palm of her hand as prospects both fun and embarrassing whirled about in her mind.]
I'm sure I'll think of something eventually, but I do know that I'd like to punch a certain angel once or twice for sure.
What do you really want to do while you're here, besides just punching angels and kicking old idiot friends' asses? There's only so many possibilities around here after all.

I've already done a lot of things I missed out on when I was a kid, but I'd really like to experience autumn just once. It's the only season I haven't seen since I got here.
[Winter had been mildly amusing, then terrible when it came for a second time in the middle of summer, spring pleasant, and summer a familiar experience. For the sake of her own curiosity, Asuka wondered where autumn fell on the scale of pleasant to terrible.]

[Asuka took another bite of her meal in an angry manner, recalling in her mind a particular person who she very much would have to liked to punch, had she been given the chance.]

[Asuka spoke as she gently wiped some red sauce from her mouth.]
[Asuka grinned, not only because it would mean the end of this stupid war, but also that it would be sort of sexy to see Samantha ending a giant's life with the sharpened point of her boot.]
I dream big, and I plot big. [She closed her eyes and took another bite while that image nestled in Asuka's head. Swallowing, she smirked.] Besides, he's got it coming twelve times over. It's a toss-up which I hate more, but he's gotten pretty personal over the year.
What can I say? I've always had a thing for hard nuts to crack. The nut tastes better if you have to work for it, after all. [Understatement of the century.] And don't worry about that. I'm doing everything I can to get the chance.
[Asuka nodded in agreement as she finished the last of her pasta with a loud slurp.]
So where did you want to go when we're done here? I still want to show you my eye, but I also don't really anyone else to see it either... so my place maybe?
That depends on how long you want to stay. [She looked up from her steak quietly for a second. Funny, her tail might have been winding its way around someone's ankle again.] I can only really be at your place for an hour or two before it feels like Baldr's staring at my back.
You can pay for the next date if you want. Pick wherever you want.
[As soon as they were back out in the faint chill of the evening, she checked the boot she'd slipped back on and reached her arm out for Asuka's, beginning to head back towards Loki.]
So... I guess I get to see a little of what you've got hiding away from sight tonight, mmm?
[Asuka took firm hold of Samantha's arm, holding on as if her life depended on it. She knew Samantha wasn't going anywhere, but losing most of the people she ever care for in life had made the Eva pilot more then a little paranoid about things.]
Yup, but I'm going to warn you now, it is not pretty.
Don't worry about that. [She shrugged, half imagining that it was an empty socket or sewn shut.] I think you should know by now that I've got a pretty stern stomach. You're not going to scare me away.
