[Mostly because she didn't see nearly as much difference. When the eye was revealed, she didn't flinch, looking at it curiously. It wasn't as horrifying as she'd expected. Swallowing once, she imagined the gray spreading and the thought of the corruption was a worry.

[Asuka nodded in the negative. If she could see through it, why would she wear an eye-patch?]
As much as I wish I could, ever since the accident my right eye has been pretty much useless. I've learned to adapt but I really hope I'll be able to use the stupid thing again someday.
[Asuka sighed. She couldn't even remember the how long it had been since she had two functioning eyes, but the ability to rid herself of the one of the oddities plaguing her ageless body was an exciting premise to say the least.]
But no, you look the same as ever. Pretty I guess?
[She started to slip up against Asuka, her arms settling to either side of the girl's neck, body pressed in close against her. She was smirking definitely now, leaning up close while one of her legs lifted and ran a booted calf against the side of the red-head's leg.]
I'm going to have to try a little harder to make sure I get more than a guess out of you aren't I, beautiful? Much as it might be a stupid thing, it gives you... an exotic look. Like an alien sort of beauty.
[Well isn't this awkward? Asuka wasn't going to fight Samantha's advances, as she had actually come to enjoy the attention, but that would not stop her from wiggling a bit and turning red as the setting sun.]
[Her fingers started to reach in, forearms sliding up along the side of her neck before she began to run those fingers up and into her hair. While she did, her lips came in a mere inch from Asuka's, breath running over hers. She reached her leg around, curling over the older woman's and smiling softly.]
You make me hungry some nights, Asuka. Late at night thinking of the taste of your lips. Of course you're beautiful.
[As Samantha stroked her hair, Asuka's breathing became quicker as her heart began to beat as an incredible pace. No matter how many times Samantha embraced her, kissed her, or stroked her hair, Asuka had yet to get used to such intimate contact with another person.
Asuka could do little in response, so blank was her mind, but she managed to pull herself a bit closer to Samantha and wrap her arms around the demon girl. It seemed appropriate.]
[Her lips hovered at the edge of a kiss and those eyes grew more lidded, heady. Tail was coiling around a leg and one hand running slowly down her back. It traced Asuka's spine while the demon leaned her forehead against the other girl's. She spoke, but it was barely a whisper, her fingers running up through her hair to cup her head.]
I want dessert, Asuka. May I have it tonight, or do you want me to get us some ice cream to cool down?
[Asuka quivered at the touch, but managed to regain her wits long enough to speak.]
...Let me put my eye-patch back on first.
[As much as she liked Samantha, as much she trusted her more then she did most people, she felt naked with her corrupted eye exposed to the outside world.
[She pulled back a little so Asuka had room to maneuver. She didn't let go of her, but she did hover far enough away that she could easily put it back on.]
[Asuka carefully tied the patch behind her head and once more brought it to a rest covering her faintly glowing eye. A part of her breathed a small sigh of relief, feeling safer now that the reminders of her failure was once more locked safely away.]
All right, I trust you. Which is an honor, I will remind you.
[She smiled a that, her tail reaching over to open the bedroom door.] You're right... but it's also my pleasure. I'll fix you breakfast in the morning as a thanks...
[And as that door closed behind them, one of her boots flopping to the floor in the hall, the scene faded to black]
