[Sometimes Samantha wondered. She winked at her, unlocking the front door after a short process and slipping in. Once they were both inside, she went about making sure it was secure. Even if she didn't use all the locks, she always used one of the deadbolts that didn't have a lock on the other side.]
Well, alright girlfriend. [Sam leaned in, grinning away.] We should get you set up then, shouldn't we?
I couldn't put it any better. It' s been a long long day and I just want to lay down for awhile and go to sleep.
[More emotionally draining then anything, a regular meetup had led to her blurting out her true feelings about very important matters and then agreeing to move into another girl's apartment. It would be a bit overwhelming for even the strongest of souls.]
Or we could cuddle, if you want. [Asuka shrank a bit as she recalled her earlier request. The one she had made before the whole "moving" thing came up.]
There's no reason that we can't cuddle while you're going to sleep, Asuka. You know that, don't you? [She leaned in, an arm reaching for her girlfriend's waist and starting to guide her towards the bedroom.] I like lying there next to you [Even if god it made her feel like her stomach was growling, after a fashion.]
[Just really bad at reading people. Asuka leaned closer to Samantha and let herself be led to the bedroom. It was always felt nice when someone else could take the lead for once, and take the weight of the world from her shoulders, if just for a moment.]
Me to. It feels...safe? I guess? [Even if it really wasn't completely safe. It sure felt that way to be so close to another person.]
There's only a couple things that you're in danger of when you're next to me. [She closed the door behind them and wrapped her arms around Asuka from behind, starting to sort of waddle towards the bed as she breathed in her ear.]
Personally, I'd hope those wouldn't be so terrible.
[Asuka was pretty sure she knew what those things were. Pretty damn sure in fact, and honestly, she didn't mind it. Not as much as she used to anyway.
Asuka followed Samanatha's stride and would head towards the bed as quickly as she could. Laying down was her top priority at the moment, with cuddling being a close second.]
I'm ok with that... [Asuka yawned.] Just go easy on me tonight, I'm really tired.
[A light tingle went through Asuka's body, causing her to shiver a bit at the touch. To tired and frazzled to really speak, at the first given chance she would lay down then speak.]

[She curled in against Asuka, resting her head against her shoulder and pulling the covers over them. It was so strange to share a bed. Doubles like she had were cramped like this, but an excellent excuse to twine legs and get in nice and close.]
Just get comfortable and I'll fix you breakfast in the morning, silly.
[It wasn't exactly common for Asuka to share her bed with anyone either. Ever the loner, she liked to have her personal space come bedtime, and possibly just enough quiet to talk herself through anything that was bothering her at the moment.
It would take her some squirming and rolling a bit before she finally settled into a position she could feel comfortable in.]
[Once more the eva pilot let loose a mildly happy sounding noise from between her lips.]
I'd like that... just nothing to spicy! I don't want my mouth to catch fire the first morning in my new place.
mmm, I'll spice things up soon enough, but mild tomorrow. Got it. [She could feel her eyes droop a little and blinked. Had it really been that long of a day?] For now, though... I almost kind of just want to lie here and use you like a pillow.
[A part of Asuka was worried that Samantha would disappear over night, like that one particularly painful night she had spent over. But she also had to learn to trust, and that not everyone would abandon her like her mother had.
She would squeeze Samantha's hand if she could. You know, just for good measure. ]
