It's been a handful, recently. Getting explained time-loops by Kaworu. Also getting explained that you arrived, but you might not be the same Asuka he knows. An old friend returning to Asgard but doesn't remember him. The month's events were a little chaotic, too. (who knew powers could backfire?!)
Leave it to Shinji to need a bit to find courage to finally get a hold of you. Even if it means probably getting yelled at, he's willing to deal with it.]

[It was an incredibly odd thought that there was another version of her in a another time line with a different last name, but she could think all about that later, after she gave Shinji a good talking to.]
The Shinji I know caused two near-Impact events because he's a little brat who never thinks before he does anything.

She very well knew this wasn't the boy who had caused so much trouble for her world, and the one who had broken her heart without so much as a second thought, but it still pierced her heart all the time, leading the elite pilot to blush for a moment and begin to stammer on like befuddled teenager.]
